One may think that Titanomachy has truly taken place in the plateau with the enormous round granite boulders. The gigantic pellets in the vast tract which surrounds Volax village in Kato Meria constitute a unique geological phenomenon worldwide and are accredited to meteorites’ fall. Others claim that maybe it is seabed or most likely, that the rocks derive from a volcano explosion, millions of years ago.
