Agios Fokas Beach, the coastal gem of Chora on Tinos Island, Greece, is a vibrant seaside destination with a unique charm. Accessible via the Heroon Polytechniou coastal road, opposite the new harbor and heading in the opposite direction, this beach boasts a mix of sand, shallow waters, and occasional pebbles, complemented by natural shade from trees. As one of the longest beaches on Tinos, Agios Fokas is well-organized in many places, drawing a bustling crowd. Visitors can reach the beach on foot or by bus, taking advantage of its scenic esplanade ideal for walking or jogging. Beyond its recreational appeal, the beach holds historical significance, with the archaeological site of Vryokastro on the mountain to the right of the street, featuring ruins of the island's prehistoric acropolis. Additionally, the endpoint of the esplanade is known as Vrekastro, adding a touch of local character to this lively coastal haven.
